  10. I'm having a problem with my A2000 that I can't figure out.

  12. After booting the system, it runs for a while then starts behaving
  13. erradically <sp?>

  15. At first, it repeats a key, as if I were holding down the key (Nope, I'm
  16. not :-))
  17.  
  18. Then, the system refuses to see the keyboard at all, as if it were frozen.
  19.  
  20. But wait, there's more.  I can still use the mouse and the GUI.  So the
  21. system is active, just not the keyboard.

  23. A reboot resets things for a brief moment or two, the the keyboard goes
  24. whacky again.

  26. I've replace the keyboard with a known working one, and the same symptoms
  27. persist.

  29. SO ... What other chips control the keyboard other than the 555, etc. that
  30. live INSIDE the keyboard case?  That is, there must be something on the
  31. A2000 motherboard that communicates with the keyboard ...
  32.  
  33. Any ideas??
