- I'm having a problem with my A2000 that I can't figure out.
-
- After booting the system, it runs for a while then starts behaving
- erradically <sp?>
-
- At first, it repeats a key, as if I were holding down the key (Nope, I'm
- not :-))
-
- Then, the system refuses to see the keyboard at all, as if it were frozen.
-
- But wait, there's more. I can still use the mouse and the GUI. So the
- system is active, just not the keyboard.
-
- A reboot resets things for a brief moment or two, the the keyboard goes
- whacky again.
-
- I've replace the keyboard with a known working one, and the same symptoms
- persist.
-
- SO ... What other chips control the keyboard other than the 555, etc. that
- live INSIDE the keyboard case? That is, there must be something on the
- A2000 motherboard that communicates with the keyboard ...
-
- Any ideas??
-
- Thanks,
-
